Human Resources Manager

HR Manager needed for a leading manufacturing Company in the Chicago area. Qualified candidates must be able to lead strong HR initiatives and use strong project and change management skills.

This position works directly with Plant leadership to develop and direct employees through organizational design, change management, recruitment and selection as well as training and employee relations. Other functions of the position includes, but are not limited to, counsel department managers with regard to individual performance assessments, implement HR initiatives driving excellence through talent reviews, workforce planning, talent analytics and overall process improvements in a positive employee experience.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to, BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Also needed is 2 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing HR role; manufacturing HR leadership role preferred. Certifications preferred are PHR or SHRM-SCP. Candidates must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software and applications; experience with ADP payroll software a plus, proficient in HR and labor metrics and analytics, thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations, strong continuous improvement mindset, project management skills, organizational skills and be a self starter and able to work with all levels of the organization.
