BS degree required - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or similar with MS in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering a very real plus

5 plus years Engineering Management experience with strong electrical, problem solving background within ETO equivalent manufacturing

Strength needed in Value Engineering, R&D, Product Development, process improvement

Strong leadership / big picture focus - long term strategies, talent management and coaching, engineering oversight for complex electro-mechanical control systems, and assembly

Must have experience in PLC and HMI technologies as well as compliance experience such as UL, FM, CE, EEA, etc.

Strongly prefer experience in a "engineered to order" background, high mix / low volume as an OE production environment.

Must have experience driving multiple product enhancements per week

Project Management experience is key, as well as NPI (New Product Introduction)

This can be project based, prototype, NPI production environment, a niche production setting with customer interactive during end of line testing.

Value Stream managing, lean practices, innovative and creativity, flexible and openness

This is prototype environment with 4 -5 direct reports including R&D, Industrial Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting 2kD and 3D Solidworks and Parametric Modeling

Reports directly to the President or Director of Operations

Work includes KPI establishment, optimum workflow, project work / management, improvement in production methods, electrical diagnosis environment, day to day staffing, budget control, forecasting
